She was almost expecting to get a letter full of curses and denouncements, so the heartfelt affirmation of friendship is so relieving that it buoys Videl's mood. A fragrant, flowery air of happiness lingers around Videl for the rest of the day, imprinting itself ever so slightly in the return letter she pens down and sends out by messenger bird first thing the following morning. ]
