Who: Farah and You!
Where: Shopping/Exercising in Verens, one of the bazaars, Briarlan.
When: Throughout October
Format: [No problem!]
Open (with some closed toplevels)
Summary: Catch-all. Farah can be found spending on some supplies or training around Verens. You can also throw tomatoes at her or one up her in the Festival of the Hunt.

[A - Merchant's Square]

[Now she has some spending money, Farah is out to pick up a few ingredients. There are people she wanted to try cooking with and it wouldn't help if she had nothing to work with. Plus there were so many talents cooks and bakers around already... It just felt right to stay on top of her cooking game.

She can be found perusing stalls in the merchant's square, a large basket on her arm which she's filling with all sorts of ingredients.]

I wonder what a good substitute for bear meat would be here...? I'll need something to try making burgers with.

[When she isn't wondering aloud how she might find a bear meat replacement, if you're shopping nearby then Farah will approach with a smile.]

Hey, sorry to bother you. Have you seen any satay here? I want to add some spice to what I'm preparing.

[B - Park]

[If you're walking by the park and start hearing yelling then try not to be alarmed. Farah is just very enthusiastic when it comes to her training regimen.

Though if you decide to stop and watch her you'll be treated to Farah walking herself through some of her artes. Punches, palm thrusts, high kicks-- All performed in an outfit which hardly looks suited for fighting in let alone martial arts. Still she seems to be managing well enough as her clothing swirls around her with each movement.]

Phew, okay! Now fifty laps around the trees, no problem!!

[She's certainly working up a sweat as she goes from her routine into a jog, and she's also making plenty of noise cheering herself, shouting and cheering after each successful routine she finishes.]

[C - Tomato Throwing Contest]

[With the bazaar up and running in the square there's also an area filled with barrels of tomatoes all stacked up and arranged in different ways. Some are piled high to make walls to hide and duck behind, others are turned on their side to make it easy to pick up some ammo...

Hopefully if you're wandering close to the barrels you're here to take part in the contest. Hang around for too long and you'll find a tomato heading your way!]

Think fast!

[Farah has been doing well enough to not get hit so far. She's planning on placing high in this contest and taking on all opponents! ... But she wouldn't be against teaming up and taking on any other tomato throwing teams either. Any would be team mates better survive that first tomato she threw though!]

[D - Festival of the Hunt]

[This whole festival would be perfect for Reid. He's a great hunter, finding monsters and bringing them down like it's nothing. Sadly with Reid not here she can't drag him into taking part... But she can enter herself and see how she gets on! While she was never quite as strong as him she always wanted to overtake him someday so this is like one big step closer to that goal.

She's been following a <a href="https://i.imgur.com/u70D5Qq.png>large boar like creature for some time now. A monster that size would definitely help with the city-wide feast! However it's quick, prone to charging and has a foul temper to boot. Just as she thinks she has it cornered it charges right past her and makes a run for it.] Hold still, I'm not done with you yet! [If anyone wants to help her stop the rampaging pig she'll gladly work together with them... Of course someone could just try stealing her kill too.] [E - GT1003] [It's midnight at the diner and boy is it rowdy. There's spilled coffee, smashed plates, every few minutes someone else is yelling about their food being cold-- The task description wasn't kidding when it mentioned the regulars needed plenty of attending to. When there's a spare moment in the early hours, Farah is busy wiping down the counter of the diner and looks over at her partner for the task with tired eyes.] Geeze. These guys are seriously rough customers... Maybe when the task mentioned resuscitation that was Susan's way of saying we're meant to think about knocking some sense into them. [She doesn't mean it. Really. It's just been a long night and the same few customers have been here for hours ordering food, drinks and causing a fuss. On the plus side, those free flapjacks mentioned in the task have just been whipped up with the bell being run for them to be collected. So there's that at least!]
